| Gator Rivers has been hailed many times over as the Greatest Ball-Handler in the World. His tenure with the Harlem Globetrotters from 1973 to 1986 sent him around the world wowing the crowds as the Globetrotters' premier Dribbler. Since leaving the Globetrotters, Gator formed a youth foundation called the Gatorball Academy where he teaches his skills and talents to kids. Gator also coached basketball at Bishop LeBlond in Missouri where he led the team to 4 district championships and an overall record over 5 years of 112-25. He hosts motivational clinics and often appears at schools and other youth organizations to talk about the importance of setting goals, staying in school and avoiding drugs.
